Are You Uniquely Nobody? Contest Starts NOW!!!!!!

Are you Uniquely Nobody? Why of course you are! SHOW ME!

The contest starts today and runs until June 1, 2011
What do I have to do? Ahh I knew you would ask me! I want you to show me how Unique you are!
How Do I enter?? Good Question! Take the most UNIQUE picture of yourself with my book Uniquely Nobody, send it to me, I will then place it in an album for all the world to see.
Entries will be posted as I receive them. I will then let 3 judges confer and pick the most Unique photo as our winner!
What do I get?? Are Pop Rocks and Flip Flops Involved? Hmm I can't give it away just yet, but the prize will fit the contest, don't you even worry!

Oh Happy Day!

Yes I am jumping for joy! I do hope you will share in my delight. It is hard for me to believe at times that a life long dream has been accomplished. I have spent years wishing, hoping and wanting so badly to be a published author.

I began writing Uniquely Nobody with no clue on how and when it could happen.

As I wrote, the pages became full, notebooks accumulated and I didn't look up, I just kept writing.

Nearing the end of the writing process, I really started to see my dream take shape.

I was terrified. What if is was no good? Would anybody read this, but my main thought was, can people read this and walk away with some sort of knowledge or inspiration. 

When I got my letter of acceptance, I cried like a little girl. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was all happening!

I can't tell you the amount of self pride and joy I felt when I finally at long last held “my baby” in my hands. It was like awaiting a birth, you want it, you dream of it and it doesn't hit you until this precious gift is placed into yours hands, then it hits so hard and you realize you did something good, something so right. 

I couldn't have accomplished this life long dream without the support of my family, my children and my dearest friends who believed in me and my ability even when I didn't.

My advice to you, all of you, is this, Never let anything stand in your way. Go for it!

If you can dream it, you can do it!

Welcome to my blog! I have been planning for quite some time to create this and finally I have gotten around to it.
